Concerns About Loss of Water Due to Fracking

Although much concern has been focused on the water that could contaminate drinking water above ground there are some people questioning the wisdom of injecting millions of gallons into the ground as part of the fracking process.   A representative from the Sierra Club contends that it’s water that is wasted—never to be used again.
A representative from the EPA counters the concern saying that nuclear power plants use  just as much water and it too is never reused.
